Training

Changes to the "Biological safety in BSL3 laboratories and A3 animal facilities" training

BSL3/A3 training will be organized differently as from January 10, 2017.

In future the "Biological safety in BSL3 laboratories and A3 animal facilities" training will be taught as two separate training sessions:

  • Biological safety in BSL3 laboratories
  • Biological safety in A3 animal facilities

Depending on the nature of your work, you can therefore choose to attend either:

  • one of the two training sessions (for those working in either BSL3 or A3 facilities)
  • both of the training sessions (for those working in both BSL3 and A3 facilities)

The training sessions will now be followed by a multiple-choice test after each presentation.

Anyone requesting access to a BSL3 laboratory will still need to arrange a meeting with a biological safety engineer from the Risk Prevention Department before the access request can be approved.

Please contact the Training Center in the HR Department for further details.
