2021 training sessions on how to use fire extinguishers

Do you know how to use a fire extinguisher?

This year's training sessions on how to use fire extinguishers will be held on Tuesday October 5, Thursday October 7 and Tuesday October 12.

You can now sign up for one of ten sessions on the following dates and times:

 

  • Tuesday October 5 (room CFJ 28.01.01c)
    Sessions: 9 to 10.30am / 10.45am to 12.15pm / 2 to 3.30pm / 3.45 to 5.15pm

  • Thursday October 7 (room CFJ 28.01.01a)
    Sessions: 9 to 10.30am / 10.45am to 12.15pm / 2 to 3.30pm / 3.45 to 5.15pm

  • Tuesday October 12 morning (room CFJ 28.01.01c)
    Sessions: 9 to 10.30am / 10.45am to 12.15pm

These instructor-led training sessions will take place on campus.

To sign up, log in with your ID and password from your Career Portal and follow the instructions below:

1.    Click on "Catalogue de formation" (Training catalog)

2.    Select "Mon catalogue complet" (My full catalog) on the left-hand side

3.    In the field "Rechercher une formation" (Search for a training course) at the top of the page, enter the keyword "Extincteur" (Extinguisher)

4.    Click on "Maniement des extincteurs" (Handling fire extinguishers) to see the dates and times available, then on "inscription" (register) at the top right

5.    Select your preferred session and confirm at the bottom of the page

You will receive an email confirming your registration, then an invitation indicating where the training will take place.

Alongside this training, we would encourage you to complete the e-learning module entitled "Les risques incendie" (Fire risks). Registration is also open via your TalentSoft portal.
