French Blood Service (EFS): temporary suspension of products for non-therapeutic purposes

Due to short-term difficulties affecting its blood collection activities, the French Blood Service (EFS) has had to temporarily suspend the delivery of products for non-therapeutic purposes for a few weeks from March 7.

Exceptions may be possible for products for which a halt in supply would give rise to major difficulties (e.g. products needed for the production of reagents). Exceptions will only be granted if written proof is provided explaining the essential nature of the products and the potential impact of a disruption to supply.
