All you should know about ERC Starting et Consolidator Grants. Information session and round table with ERC grantees and experts – June 16, 2022 11am - 12.30pm
Are you a talented early-career scientist who has already produced excellent supervised work, is ready to work independently and shows potential to be a research leader? Consider the ERC Starting Grant!
Are you a scientist who wants to consolidate your independence by establishing a research team and continuing to develop a success career in Europe? Consider the ERC Consolidator Grant!
The European Research Council (ERC)'s mission is to encourage the highest quality research in Europe through competitive funding and to support investigator-driven frontier research across all fields, on the basis of scientific excellence. ERC offers selective and generous grants, independence, recognition & visibility.
THE GRANTS OFFICE organizes an Info Day dedicated to future ERC applicants. The idea is to share all good tips for a successful ERC project with experts and grantees.
SAVE THE DATE: This Info Day will be held on June 16, 2022 (11am - 12.30pm) at the Institut Pasteur. A Teams link could also be available (if required).
A focus will be done on ERC Starting and ERC Consolidator grants. These grants should allow scientists at the start of their career to build (StG) or strengthen (CoG) their research team around projects on ambitious and risky subjects, responding to innovative scientific issues or obstacles, that are still untreated until now.
On the occasion of this information day, a round table is organized with two ERC fellows and a member of the evaluation panel. This will be a unique opportunity to exchange on their experience and to answer your questions.
Participants:
- Dr. Gemano Cecere ERC StG 2015, ERC CoG 2020
- Dr. Thibaut Brunet ERC StG 2022
- Dr. Michael Nilges, ERC panel member
- Dr. Ksenia Bagrintseva, Senior grant writer at the Grants Office
- Dr. Nazaré Guimard, Head of the Grants Office
- Dr. Emilien Stragier, EU project officer at Grants Office
