Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
For this year's Pasteurdon, the Institut Pasteur has joined forces with Brut. media to produce two videos for the general public with the aim of boosting the impact and visibility of the campaign.
What is the objective?
The idea is to get to know two scientists on campus so that Brut.'s audience can find out more about the research carried out at the Institut Pasteur, especially on stem cells and cancer. These videos will be shown on Brut.'s social media during the month of October to support the 16th edition of Pasteurdon.
Neural stem cells and zebrafish: diving into the Institut Pasteur's research with Mélina Thetiot and Alexandra Lamy for Brut.
The loyal Pasteurdon patron was more than happy to don her reporter's hat for an interview for Brut. media with a scientist in the Institut Pasteur's Zebrafish Neurogenetics Unit. Back in July, Alexandra Lamy went to meet Mélina Thetiot and check out the zebrafish breeding area at the Institut Pasteur. Zebrafish are a unique species that scientists can use to study the behavior and properties of neural stem cells in the hope of making major advances in the field of neurodegenerative diseases and traumatic brain injuries.
Check out the video, which was released on October 5 on Brut.'s social media pages
Four focus areas in cancer research: an interview with Ludovic Deriano
For the second video, Brut. met Ludovic Deriano, Head of the Genome Integrity, Immunity and Cancer Unit and also joint leader of the Cancer Initiative at the Institut Pasteur. The interview delves into four fascinating aspects of the Institut Pasteur's cancer research, a major research area that is currently the focus of a concerted action and involves the expertise of 52 research teams composed of around 250 scientists.
Curing cancer, diagnosis, the contribution of virtual reality, and immunotherapy – check out the interview with Ludovic Deriano for Brut. from October 23 onwards on social media.
