Yves Saint-Geours elected Chairman of the Institut Pasteur Board of Governors

On October 28, 2022, following the replacement of outgoing members at the last session of the General Meeting, the Institut Pasteur Board of Governors elected its new Chairman, Yves Saint-Geours.

At the meeting, the Institut Pasteur Board of Governors began by taking due note of the resignation of François Delattre for compelling reasons related to his new position as French Ambassador to Berlin. He had been elected to the Board by the Institut Pasteur General Meeting board on June 29, 2022.

With the support of the Institut Pasteur members of the General Meeting board, and as laid down in the Institut Pasteur's articles of association, the Board of Governors decided to appoint former Ambassador Yves Saint-Geours to replace François Delattre on the Board. A meeting of the Institut Pasteur General Meeting board will be held to vote on this appointment, in accordance with the articles of association.

The Board of Governors then elected Yves Saint-Geours to succeed Christian Vigouroux as chairman.
