Inauguration

Inaugural events for the Center for Research and Innovation in Human Audiology on October 10 and 11

Stewart Cole, President of the Institut Pasteur, and Anne-Lise Giraud, Director of the Hearing Institute, are pleased to invite you to the inauguration of the Center for Research and Innovation in Human Audiology (CeRIAH).

This inauguration will involve two events which you can note in your diaries:

  • October 10: attend the inaugural CeRIAH event

Come along to the CIS auditorium at 5pm for this event, which will be attended by key figures from the new center and the hearing research community. Paul Avan and Hung Thai-Van, respectively Director and Co-Director of the Center, will lead the event, which will feature several leading scientific figures and representatives from Paris City Hall and the French Ministry of Research and Innovation.

The ceremony will be followed by a drinks reception.

  • October 11: visit the CeRIAH

The day after the inaugural event, all members of the Institut Pasteur will be given the opportunity to visit the newly renovated premises. Six half-hour tours will be run for Institut Pasteur staff between 11am and 4pm. CeRIAH members will welcome you and serve as guides, and you can see demonstrations of specific equipment and find out about the center's research, facilities and infrastructures for research participants.
