Git is a free and open source distributed version control system designed to handle everything from small to very large projects with speed and efficiency. Main objective: Understanding the basic git management model and learning how to use it for managing your own projects.
The training addresses the following subjects:
• Working with local and remote repositories.
• Creating and managing branches
• Sharing your repository on the internal GitLab platform.
The training is for anyone who would like to learn the basics of git, and it will be given in English.
The training will take place at the Institut Pasteur in-person from 10am to 4pm with a lunch break from 12pm to 1.30pm.
