Report on Mobility Day on September 21

In connection with the 22nd European Mobility Week, on September 21 the Sustainable Development Department and the CSE's cycling section offered staff the opportunity to come and discuss mobility issues – including the latest news both within the Institut Pasteur and externally, information about transport options for business trips, and the benefits of daily cycling. They would like to thank all the Institut Pasteur staff who came along to discuss these issues at the stand.

Around ten bikes were given Bicycode® engravings, and the repair workshop was used to repair more than 15 bikes.

The mobility stand gave staff a chance to find out about the systematic use of trains by Institut Pasteur staff for business trips less than 4 hours away (see organization memo 098 from the Department of Financial Affairs) and to discuss the use of cars and air travel when absolutely necessary, bearing in mind that greenhouse gas emissions are on average 70 times lower for trains than for aircraft.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Sustainable Development Team at campus-vert@pasteur.fr.
