Teams gets a makeover!

The IT Department would like to inform you of the upcoming required switchover to the new Teams version. In order to limit potential overlaps and problems linked to the Microsoft transition between the different versions, we strongly encourage you to switch to the new version of the application before March 31, when Teams Classic support ends.

After several months as a Beta, the new Microsoft Teams application has been overhauled to deliver a faster, simpler and more flexible user experience. The update will be definitive in mid-May. After March 31, 2024, all Teams Classic (Mac & Windows) users who have not yet upgraded will be progressively switched over. The transition will take place automatically: no action is required from you.

The new Teams client installs and loads faster, allowing you to launch the application and join meetings more quickly. You'll also be able to take advantage of new features (in French), such as MTO capability, for rich, flexible collaboration.
