Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
Following the Moscow attack, the French President convened a meeting of the National Defense and Security Council at the Elysée Palace on March 24. It has been decided to raise the Vigipirate posture to its highest level.
As part of the transition to the "Urgence attentat" level, Institut Pasteur senior management team has put in place a number of measures on Tuesday March 26:
The closure of the Falguiere, Vaugirard, logistics, 23 and 26 rue du Docteur Roux entrances.
The reinforcement of security guards at the entrances kept open (25, 28, CMIP) and for events attended by more than 50 people.
The systematic accompaniment of all external persons on campus by a Pasteurian.
Reinforced checks on visitors' identity papers, bags and suitcases.
Random checks of visitors' and service providers' vehicles as they enter the campus.
Staff from 180 rue de Vaugirard who wish to enter the campus can do so via the CMIP.
Access to the campus during non-open hours (i.e. from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., Monday to Friday, and 24 hours a day on Saturdays and Sundays) remains authorized for Pasteurians, subject to prior declaration (unchanged). However, this prior declaration must now be made via the GAIP authorization management application (replacing the e-mails sent to surete@pasteur.fr and astreinte@pasteur.fr which were still being sent by some users).
Thank you all for your vigilance.
