The Department for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is thrilled to announce the launch of our exclusive Ambassador Program, a 12-month leadership program designed to empower 30 individuals like you to become catalysts for inclusive leadership and organizational transformation!

Whether you are in science or not, if you aspire to take on leadership roles and make a difference, this course is for you!

The Ambassador Program, organized by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), stands out for its tailored approach to leadership development.

This program provides an exceptional opportunity for growth and success:

•    Personalized Development: Define your individual objectives at the onset of the program and embark on a journey of growth through customizable masterclass sessions (leadership theory, communication strategies, conflict resolution, project management, and navigating workplace challenges, etc.) tailored to your specific needs and interests;

•    Mentorship and Networking: Gain access to invaluable mentoring opportunities and exclusive networking events, where you'll connect with leaders from the healthcare industry and beyond;

•    Collective Impact: Collaborate with fellow participants to establish collective goals that align with our organizational strategy. Together, we'll form a task force dedicated to driving institutional change and fostering a culture of inclusivity.

Time commitment: 6 to 10 hours per month

Selection Criteria:

•    Fluent English (the course will be in English)

•    Career Stage: Participants should be at an early or mid-career stage with 8 to 15 years of professional experience (PhD included);

•    Demonstrated Leadership Potential: Candidates should demonstrate potential for leadership roles through previous experiences such as leading projects, teams, or initiatives, even on a small scale;

•    Track Record of Achievement: Applicants should have a track record of achievements in their field, such as publications, presentations, awards, or successful project outcomes;

•    Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: Candidates should show a genuine interest in promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and be committed to advancing these values in their leadership roles;

•    Recommendations: Letters of recommendation from supervisors, mentors, or colleagues who can attest to the candidate's leadership potential, commitment to diversity, and achievements may be required.
