Report on the scientific symposium for the winners of the 2017 Sanofi-Institut Pasteur Awards

The scientific symposium and prize-giving ceremony for the 2017 Sanofi-Institut Pasteur Awards took place on December 12 at the Institut Pasteur. For this sixth edition, five prize-winners selected from a total of 82 candidates were recognized for the scientific excellence of their research on immunology or microbiology and infection.

This year, Fabrizia Stavru (Institut Pasteur, Paris) and François Leulier (Institute of Functional Genomics, Lyon, CNRS Rhône-Auvergne, Lyon) were the winners in the National Junior Award category.
Professors Antonio Lanzavecchia (Institute for Research in Biomedicine, Università della Svizzera Italiana, Bellinzona, Switzerland), Michel C. Nussenzweig (The Rockefeller University, New York, United States) and Jeffrey I. Gordon (Washington University, St. Louis, United States) were selected in the International Award category.
