October 9 at 5.30pm: be there for the launch of the 18th edition of Pasteurdon, featuring Erik Orsenna, Julia Vignali, Kad Merad, Julian Bugier and all the Pasteurdon media partners and sponsors

As with each edition, the Pasteurdon launch event will only be a success if everyone rallies round to form a united community committed to research. The Pasteurdon patrons, ambassadors, journalists, TV and radio presenters and sponsors, and of course each and every staff member at the Institut Pasteur, all have a part to play in getting this year's appeal off to a great start, giving it momentum and boosting its visibility!

This year, everyone on campus is invited to the launch event, which once again promises to unite us all behind a common vision as only Pasteurdon can.

Alongside Erik Orsenna, Ambassador for the Institut Pasteur, Julia Vignali and Kad Merad, patrons of the Institut Pasteur, Julian Bugier, Ambassador for Pasteurdon, and all the media representatives and sponsors – all loyal Pasteurdon supporters –, make sure you come along to the CIS forecourt on Wednesday October 9 at 5.30pm for this year's launch so that we can once again show our collective support for research and health!

Program
 

Come to the CIS forecourt at 5.30pm on the dot for a unique group activity. Together we will create hopes, dreams, adventures and memories alongside the guests and the faces of Pasteurdon. The more who come along, the better the launch will be!

 

At 6pm, we will head to the CIS auditorium to find out more about the 2024 campaign, with the participation of all those involved in the event: the patrons, ambassadors, TV and radio representatives and sponsors.

 

Finally, at 7pm, the launch festivities will really get going as the CIS auditorium is transformed into a TV studio for a fun and fascinating live quiz.

Two teams composed of celebrities and other familiar faces will go head to head to answer science-themed questions, moderated by Julian Bugier. The competition will be fierce and you will want to play along to see how many you can answer! The idea is that the teams can "ask a scientist" to help them find the answers to the questions. The quiz will be live-streamed on the Pasteurdon website, Facebook and youtube. You can also watch it by clicking here. Feel free to share the link with your friends and family!

For this part of the launch event, those in the hall watching the live quiz will have to stay from start to finish so as not to disrupt the sound.

 

A cocktail reception will follow this 18th Pasteurdon launch to reveal the names of the two winners of the “Hunting for Pasteurdon” game, launched on September 30 and running until October 4 at 6pm!

Research is part of us!

Different video sequences and pictures will be taken at the unique launch event in preparation for Pasteurdon 2024 to maximize the operation’s impact in the media (press, TV, social media and web, etc.) as well as for publication on our internal communication media (newsletter, intranet).

In participating in this important launch event on October 9, you agree to feature in these sequences and authorize the Institut Pasteur and Pasteurdon partners to reproduce, have reproduced, publish and have published, on any or all of the above-mentioned media, any videos or photos in which you may appear.
