Report on the evacuation drills carried out on June 12 and 13 and upcoming events

More than 1,550 of you took part in the evacuation drills carried out on June 12 and 13, 2024.

The Security Department would like to thank you all, especially the 50 or so fire wardens who contributed to the smooth running of the drills.

The evacuation information campaign for the second year half has been under way since September and will continue until December, in several stages.

  • Reminders and practical information

•    Evacuation means ensuring the safety of all the occupants of an area or a building by making them leave the area and guiding them to the secure meeting point

•    The green armband must be worn during all drills.

Keep clear zones and emergency exits must always be kept clear and remain accessible. No items or equipment should be placed in front of them. People must be able to circulate freely.

 

  • Training in handling fire extinguishers

The Security Department is looking for volunteers to take fire extinguisher handling training. 

Sessions will take place on October 15 and 16, 2024 at the following times: 

•  Morning: from 9am to 12.15pm

•  Afternoon: from 1.30 to 4.45pm

We all have a part to play in fire safety. Learn how to use an extinguisher properly!
