To showcase several of the powerful key research themes that affect the health of us all, this year Pasteurdon proposed a series of five visuals that feature one or more characters in an everyday scene that we can all relate to: parenting, children playing, walking along a street, and a reflection in a mirror. On station platforms, in the street, on the railings of Rue du Docteur Roux and on the Institut Pasteur campus itself, two of the emblematic campaign visuals carved out a place for themselves in the daily landscape:

On TV, over the airwaves, in the press, online and on social media: there was great media visibility for Pasteurdon

For this 18th edition, Pasteurdon once again enjoyed the generous support of its many media partners. During the five-day campaign, the partner channels used their programs to spread the word about Pasteurdon and invited representatives of the Institut Pasteur's research to speak about their work in person. They also demonstrated their support by displaying banners on their respective websites. On TV, over the airwaves, online, in the press and on social media, the Institut Pasteur's partners made every effort to tell people about Pasteurdon and to raise awareness of the need for donations by broadcasting and publishing interviews about the Institut Pasteur and its research and funding challenges.

A significant rise was noted on pasteur.fr during Pasteurdon week with 300K sessions (i.e. almost 60% more compared with 2023) and on pasteurdon.fr (18,000 visits).

The campaign was also widely circulated on social media with strong support via channels’ and presenters’ accounts. Thousands of #pasteurdon mentions were trending due to the collective formed by the Institut Pasteur, media partners and sponsors (more than 1,000 mentions on X (formerly Twitter) alone).

More than 40 Institut Pasteur staff also gave Pasteurdon a boost on LinkedIn, including several times for some of you! A big thank you to all of you for your energy and collective efforts!

Among the content most viewed was:

-     the video "Finally improving endometriosis diagnosis!" with Camille Berthelot

-     the video by Brut media on antibiotic resistance during Kad Merad and Julia Vignali’s visit to campus

Many of you also showed huge interest in the innovative "FOOH" format (for Fake Out of Home, an innovative concept that creates the illusion of an outdoor advertising campaign that doesn’t physically exist in the real world).
