Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
As part of its commitment to providing its students and scientists with accommodation options near its Paris sites, the Institut Pasteur has taken several measures which will apply from the start of 2025.
• A new partnership agreement with Cité internationale universitaire de Paris (CIUP – the international university halls of residence in Paris) has been signed for a five-year period.
From January 1, 2025, 65 accommodation units (an increase of 5 units) will be available to the Institut Pasteur, including 40 individual rooms, 18 individual studio apartments and 7 studio apartments for couples. Applicants must be students or postdoctoral fellows, in line with the CIUP's general terms of admission.
The application procedure is managed by the Institut Pasteur, which sends out the list of people who have been selected for accommodation four weeks before their arrival.
Those awarded CIUP accommodation will have access to several services, including restaurants and cultural and sports facilities. There are support structures on site to assist them with administrative procedures and help them with any difficulties they may encounter.

• The annual subscription to the Studapart platform has been renewed.
A more extensive range of different types of accommodation is now available, together with support for applicants. The platform, accessible in three languages (French, English and Mandarin), is open to all Institut Pasteur staff.

The "2025 Accommodation at the Institut Pasteur 2025" guide, containing information about a variety of accommodation options, has been updated and is available on the Institut Pasteur's education website.
From January 2025, all accommodation assistance services for students and scientists, including access to CIUP accommodation, will be managed and coordinated by the Department of Education, within the newly established Student Accommodation Office. One of the tasks of the new office will be to explore and develop new accommodation options for all staff on campus, in close collaboration with the Human Resources Department, the Financial Affairs Department, the Department of Philanthropy and the Department of Corporate Social Responsibility and Technical Resources (DRSE-RT).
