As part of Equity Month organized by the DEI Direction, we are delighted to invite you to an enriching experience at Institut Pasteur: the Women’s Public Speaking Contest, hosted by Voix d’Oratrices.

This contest celebrates the diversity and richness of women’s voices. Open to all women, it is an opportunity to speak up, share ideas, and contribute to discussions that drive societal progress.

This inspiring initiative brings together science and society, fostering a space where diverse ideas and powerful eloquence are celebrated. It’s a chance to express your convictions, face a public speaking challenge, and embrace an adventure that values diversity.

Why participate?

• Personalized coaching: Receive expert guidance to refine your public speaking skills between competition rounds.

• Inspiring rewards: Celebrate your talent with awards for the finalists.

• Inclusive contest: Open to all women, whether internal or external to Institut Pasteur, French- or English-speaking, offering a unique chance to connect with diverse profiles and broaden your network.

Themes:

Tackle captivating topics that intersect science, society, and equity. Every word matters to inspire, raise awareness, and persuade.

Key Dates:

• 1st round: February 15-16, 2025 (online via videoconference)

Topics will be announced two weeks in advance.

• 2nd round: February 22-23, 2025 (in-person, at Institut Pasteur)

Participants will select their own topic, pre-approved by organizers.

• Finale: March 10, 2025 (in-person, at Institut Pasteur)

Present your final performance before a distinguished jury in the CIS auditorium.

Spots are limited to 35 participants!
