Upcoming training: EndNote and Open access

•    Remote training: Advanced EndNote, level 2, Wednesday February 12, 2025 from 2 to 5pm* (in English)

Find out about the more advanced features of EndNote 21 and learn some handy tips and tricks.

Combining theory and practice, this training session will teach you how to boost your library with references that are not available in traditional databases, manage your library more efficiently and import references into a document (e.g. changing a style).
 
Aim of the training
To develop advanced skills in using the software
 
This training is aimed at anyone who already uses EndNote and wants to further develop their command of the software.
 
It will take place remotely (via Microsoft Teams) in English.

An attendance certificate will be provided on request.

• Remote training: Managing open access to publications: challenges, ecosystem and policies adopted by institutions and research funders, Wednesday February 12, 2025 from 3.30 to 5.30pm* (in French)

In its Charter for Open Access to Publications,  the Institut Pasteur has set itself the target of 100% of publications published as open access. It has introduced the system of submitting publications to the HAL-Pasteur open access archive, with the COMESP using this as part of its appraisal policy for scientists.

Aims of training

This training session will help you:

•    Understand the challenges and issues related to open access and the open access ecosystem

•    Know how to comply with the open access policies adopted by the Institut Pasteur and research funders.

•    File formats and reuse rights
•    Roads to open access and related costs
•    The importance of open archives
•    Bibliodiversity and the diamond model
•    Open access policies adopted by institutions and funding bodies

The training is open to all without any prior requirements.
