Emulsifiers, a type of food additive, are widely used in the food industry and found in many products we consume on a daily basis, such as sandwich bread, ice cream, cream and plant milk. Emulsifiers are now so ubiquitous in our diets that their health impact has become an important public health issue.

Conference

Organized on a monthly basis by the Scientific Council, these lectures are an opportunity to find out about the latest developments in research and knowledge in a particular field. conseil scientifique. These unique lectures are aimed at the entire Institut Pasteur community.

Research

On January 23, 2025, for the first time since Sound Week was founded, the Hearing Institute hosted a conference entitled "Sound environment and well-being," in partnership with the CEPREMAP Well-Being Observatory.

IT

LibreChat is a service available to all Pasteurians, providing access to multiple generative model providers. Several providers are available to you: in-house and hosted at the Institute via AI@Pasteur, or external and public providers such as OpenIA, Anthropic and Claude.

Museum

From May 27 to 31, 2024, nine students in conservation, restoration and collection management from the French National Heritage Institute (INP) and the Ecole du Louvre, accompanied by conservation and restoration expert and supervisor Sarah Kuperholc, carried out a collection review at the Museum of Research Applications in Marnes-la-Coquette. Their work was presented at a study day on Friday January 24, 2024 at the French National Institute for Art History (INHA).
