Scientific outreach and communication: training in producing animated films

For those interested in scientific communication and/or outreach to the general public, a practical three-day training course on producing animated films will be held at the Institut Pasteur in May.

The training is free and open to all.
 
It will be led by Cécile Rousset, an artist and art teacher. You can see some of her work (including animated films) here.
She uses the stop-motion technique (with drawings, clay, collages, etc.) rather than digital techniques.
 
The course will take place on May 13, 14 and 20.
It will mainly involve practical exercises in small groups.
