AI events" launch: attend masterclasses in the new generative AI acculturation and training series

To help address the challenges surrounding Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Institut Pasteur community can benefit from a general training initiative focused on acculturation and daily practical use of generative AI from March 31.

This acculturation and training series was launched by the Skills and Training Center in the HR Department, in partnership with the Information Systems Department and the Center for IT Resources and Research (C2RI). It aims to advance understanding of generative AI fundamentals, get to grips with the challenges and explore tangible applications tailored to each job and professional practice regardless of the role occupied.

In connection with Pasteur 2030’s priorities, the generative AI acculturation series will begin with an inaugural masterclass on March 31 (in English) and April 3 (in French) and will be followed by other sessions on more specific topics.

The two masterclasses are free to attend and no prior registration is required.

They will be available via video conference. The program and links will be provided in an upcoming issue of the newsletter. Meanwhile make sure you note the dates in your diaries!

"AI events" are part of a broader strategy to raise awareness and support Institut Pasteur staff in generative AI implementation. Following the launch of our internal platform LibreChat and in addition to the training already available to PhD students from the Department of Education, this series aims to make AI more accessible and useful for all Institut Pasteur community members, regardless of their job and level of expertise.

The aim is to offer a progressive, interactive approach to understand, experiment and master these technologies with due regard for the diversity of jobs and profiles at the Institut Pasteur.

LibreChat is a service that gives Institut Pasteur staff access to several generative model providers (you first need to validate the awareness training given by the Information Systems Security Department teams, available on TalentSoft. Access is generally given 24 hours after eLearning completion).
