Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
The Senior Management and the Executive Scientific Division are pleased to announce the launch of the 2025 edition of the incentive programs, coordinated by the Scientific Programming and Incentive Actions Department (SPAIS), in collaboration with DARRI, the Medical Department, the Department of International Affairs, and the Pasteur Network.
Objectives of this Edition
This edition aims to enhance the impact of the incentive programs by prioritizing:
• Innovative, disruptive, and interdisciplinary projects
• Talent development and strengthening connections with the Pasteur Network, particularly in low- and middle-income countries
• Projects at the forefront of technology and Artificial Intelligence
• Societal engagement, equity, diversity, inclusion and entrepreneurship.
Evolution of the Incentive Programs
The programs evolve with the following key changes:
• An integrated approach to strengthen collective impact
• Increased funding and a variety of formats to address diverse needs
• An optimized selection process and renewed selection committees to maintain scientific excellence.
Projects should ideally align with one or more axes of the Pasteur 2030 strategic plan. However, particular attention will be given to "out-of-the-box" projects that are high-risk, high-reward, and do not necessarily fit within the four priorities of the strategic plan.
