Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
The Grants Office is pleased to invite you to a virtual round table dedicated to the European Research Council (ERC), on June 17 at 11 a.m. via Teams. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to engage with ERC awardees and panel members from the Pasteurian ERC community, who will share their experience and provide you with practical advice for success in this highly competitive selection process.
Why participate?
ERC grants are among the most prestigious research funding opportunities in Europe, supporting innovative projects at the frontier of knowledge, with scientific excellence as the sole selection criterion. More than €2.7 billion will be allocated to these grants in 2025, open to all researchers regardless of nationality, provided the project is hosted by a European institution or one associated with Horizon Europe.
The round table will cover in detail the different ERC categories: Starting, Consolidator, Advanced, and Synergy Grants. You will learn about the specifics of each call for proposals, the expectations of evaluation panels, and strategies for structuring a competitive application.
