Museum

Pasteur Museum now on Instagram!

The museum is continuing its work to preserve and promote the Institut Pasteur's heritage by branching out into a new communication platform: Instagram.

The museum team opened an official Instagram account a few weeks ago (@musee.pasteur) that will serve as a dynamic showcase for the museum collections and an information point with all the latest news about the ongoing building work and upcoming cultural events. This new communication tool will provide us with a new, more visual format to present the Institut Pasteur's rich history and architectural heritage, the museum collections, and the cultural and scientific outreach activities organized all year round.

Why Instagram?

With two billion users worldwide, Instagram has become the go-to platform for anyone looking to reach a broad and varied audience. The launch of our page is a key milestone in the museum's digital revamp, carried out in parallel alongside the building work, the redesign of the museum and the restoration of the collections, with a view to the museum’s reopening in 2028. The Pasteur Museum sees this as a great opportunity to boost its visibility and start building a community of followers.
