Appointment of Odile Hermabessiere as Institut Pasteur Vice-President Human Resources

At its meeting on April 27, the Board of Directors approved the appointment of Odile Hermabessiere as Vice-President Human Resources at the Institut Pasteur. She will take office on June 4.

Odile Hermabessiere, a graduate from INSEEC Bordeaux and a certified executive coach, began her career in sales at a major international retail group (Mondelez).

She went on to hold various human resources posts in the health industry (GSK, Pfizer and Bristol-Myers Squibb). Her expertise led her to work in France and also with teams in Portugal, Spain and Belgium.

Drawing on her extensive experience in human resources, Odile Hermabessiere has overseen changes and transitions in a number of organizations and optimized HR processes, placing particular importance on staff development. Her sales experience has given her a strong internal client focus, and she is always striving to tailor human resources approaches to meet the needs of different professions.

At the Institut Pasteur, Odile Hermabessiere, will be responsible, within the Deputy Directorate General for Administration and Finance, for leading the human resources team, supporting staff through a time of change at the Institut Pasteur and inspiring a team-centered approach for the development of future discoveries that will uphold and extend the Institut Pasteur's reputation at global level.
