Save the date for the "Scientific activities and career perspectives at the Institut Pasteur of Shanghai – Chinese Academy of Sciences" seminar

impression-flyer-ips_shanghaifinal.png The Doct-Office in the Department of Education, the Institut Pasteur's association for young researchers (StaPa), the MAASCC welcome and support structure for contract researchers, the Scientific Careers Department and the International Affairs Department are organizing a seminar entitled "Scientific activities and career perspectives at the Institut Pasteur of Shanghai – Chinese Academy of Sciences".

Led by Professor H. Tang, Director General of the Institut Pasteur of Shanghai (IPS), and Fernando Arenzana, Scientific Co-Director of the IPS, this event will take place from 2 to 4pm on May 29 in the Jacques Monod lecture hall.

The seminar is open to everyone (PhD, post-doc and young researchers are welcome). The organizers and speakers are keen to give participants a broad overview of the activities, main areas of research, health challenges, technologies and international teaching that can be found at the IPS. The aim is also to present the scientific activities and the career opportunities available at this institute, which was set up 14 years ago and is involved in research on several infectious diseases and in the development of diagnostic tests, vaccines and other therapeutic products.

The event is free and open to all.
