2018 short films: You made it happen!

Pasteurdon is known for its inspirational short films, designed to raise awareness among the general public of the vital role of research in improving health. This year, from June 26 to 28, the Department of Communications and Fundraising held sessions to shoot the new short films that will be shown for this year's 12th edition of Pasteurdon. And to bring fresh momentum to the initiative, a brand new production team took the reins for these three days, setting up cameras to film in a new location, the OMICS buildings, which offer a sleek, modern backdrop.

Many of you gave up your time to help bring these films to life. Every morning and afternoon during the shoot, groups of 10 cheerful, enthusiastic extras came to the set to be filmed alongside presenters and journalists from the various TV partner channels. These enjoyable sessions were a wonderful opportunity to share a unique experience and develop a sense of team spirit.

To complete this new Pasteurdon chapter, the TV presenters engaged in some role-playing of their own alongside the Institut Pasteur extras! Alex Goude (France 4), Jean-Pierre Gratien ( LCP AN), Messaoud Benterki (L'Equipe), Aurélie Casse (BFM TV), John Eledjam (CSTAR), Joan Faggianelli (Gulli), Victor Robert (C8), Elisabeth Allain (France 24), Christophe Beaugrand (TMC et TF1 Série films), Elsa Fayer (TFX), Stéphanie Coleau (BFM Business), Elizabeth Tchoungui (Numéro 23), Rebecca Fitoussi (Public Sénat), Laurence Ferrari (CNEWS), Aymeric Bonnery (NRJ 12), Bénédicte Le Chatelier (LCI), Louis Laforge (France Info), Nelly Bipat (France O), Jérôme Anthony (W9), Evelyne Thomas  (Chérie 25), Thomas Misrachi (RMC Découverte) took turns during the three-day shoot as the short films were finalized (liste des animateurs à actualiser d’ici vendredi).

A huge thank you to all those who generously gave up their time to contribute to the Pasteurdon 2018 campaign!
