Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
Are you involved in research as a student, scientist, engineer or technician? Are you interested in sharing your enthusiasm and passion for your work with others?
The "Young Researchers" program, run by the Association for the Promotion of Science and Research (APSR) and hosted by the Institut Pasteur for the past six years, offers you the opportunity to become a mentor for a pair of high school students (with the approval of your manager). PhD students can also apply to become mentors, and the scheme enables them to validate one of the modules on their PhD program.
The mentoring program runs from January to June 2016 and offers students:
8½ days working alongside the team (roughly one Wednesday afternoon every month)
The opportunity to ask questions and learn about scientific methods
The chance to carry out a simple scientific project including lab tests
The opportunity to present the results at a mini conference that will be held in June 2016 on the Institut Pasteur campus
