Simplified procedure for requesting interns and Orex staff: new tools now available

The Human Resources Department teams have simplified and improved the procedure for requesting to host interns and Orex staff by introducing a number of new tools:

  • DIASO, a tool that helps assess hosting requests so that applications can be prepared as thoroughly as possible prior to submission. This tool, produced in collaboration with the Information Systems Department, enables users to characterize their requests in a few clicks and provides useful information on the type of hosting request that should be drawn up, the documents that need to be attached and any visa/residence permit/work permit that may be required;

  • specific vacancy/hosting request forms (DAR) for hosting interns or Orex staff so that official requests can be submitted via the Career Portal (Talentsoft).

 

Aims:

  • to streamline the process for preparing requests to host interns and Orex staff by offering a precise, detailed assessment of the status of the new staff member before the request is submitted;

  • to simplify the procedure for monitoring and processing requests with a single tool that can be used for all requests. From now on, regardless of the status of the person hosted or recruited, requests should be made online via the Career Portal.

 
These tools will:

  • optimize the submission of hosting requests;

  • reduce the time taken to process completed requests.

 

Future interns and Orex staff will now also be given a personal "onboarding" space on the Career Portal to help them prepare for their arrival on campus as effectively as possible. Via this space, they can fill out online applications and download useful documents (such as the brand new FAQ on "French administration – how to find your way around"). The module, launched in June 2017, was previously only available for employees, but now all future Institut Pasteur staff can enjoy the benefits.

• To access the Talentsoft recruitment module: managers and assistants can go directly to the Career Portal and bring up a vacancy/hosting request form (DAR) by clicking on "Saisir un besoin de recrutement" (Enter a requirement) in the "Mon Talentsoft" (My Talentsoft) space
