Despite its apparent simplicity – a tube-like body topped with tentacles –, the sea anemone is actually a highly complex creature. Scientists from the Institut Pasteur, in collaboration with the CNRS, have just discovered over a hundred different cell types in this small marine invertebrate as well as incredible neuronal diversity.

Human resources

The Human Resources Department teams have simplified and improved the procedure for requesting to host interns and Orex staff by introducing a number of new tools. These tools will optimize the submission of hosting requests and reduce the time taken to process completed requests.

Since Monday July 9, the "Vivons Vélo" initiative in aid of the Institut Pasteur has been in full swing in the atrium of the François Jacob building on the Institut Pasteur campus, giving everyone the opportunity to ride for research. Three stationary bikes have been set up for this 7th edition, with brand new scenic backdrops designed to inspire all staff to get pedaling and clock up the kilometers every day with the aim of reaching the weekly target of 600km.
