CeRIS cinema club: upcoming film screenings from December 26 to January 3

From December 26, 2018 to January 3, 2019, the Scientific Information Resources Center (CeRIS) will be showing a selection of science documentaries from its DVD collection.

Come and see a different documentary every Wednesday and Thursday at 1.30pm in the Jules Bordet room (on the ground floor of the Metchnikoff building (building 67)).
 
Program:

  • Wednesday December 26, 2018: Animaux médecins [Animal doctors], directed by Jacques Mitsch, 2014 (52 mins)

  • Thursday December 27, 2018: L'homme qui voulait classer le monde [The man who wanted to classify the world] (Paul Otlet), directed by Françoise Levie, 2002 (60 mins)

  • Wednesday January 2, 2019: Zika, les prémices d'une pandémie [Zika, the early stages of a pandemic], directed by Hervé Corbière, 2016 (52 mins)

  • Thursday January 3, 2019: "Ce n'est pas une vie que de ne pas bouger", Alexandre Yersin – l'homme qui a vaincu la peste ["It's no life at all if you undertake nothing", Alexandre Yersin – the man who defeated the plague], directed by Stéphane Kleeb, 2014 (91 mins)

 
DVDs from the CeRIS library collection are available on loan:

  • by visiting the library (CIS – second floor), Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm.
