A new rabies prevention center has been opened in Kampong Cham, Cambodia. The Institut Pasteur du Cambodge, in collaboration with the Provincial Health Department and the provincial hospital where it is temporarily based, opened the center to the public on March 7. Managed by two doctors and two nurses, the center treats nearly 100 patients injured by animals each day. In 2018, a rabies prevention center was opened in Battambang with the aim of vaccinating an average of 10,000 people each year.
