Creation of the Malaria: Parasites and Hosts Unit

Following the favorable opinion issued by the Scientific Council in June 2015, the Malaria: Parasites and Hosts (Malaria: parasites et hôtes) Unit was set up on March 3, 2016.

This unit within the Department of Parasites and Insect Vectors will be directed by Ivo Mueller, who is also a Joint Division Head at the Walter and Elisa Hall Institute for Medical Research in Australia.

The unit will be set up for a first 5-year term which will run through to February 28, 2021.
