Call for applications for the 2019 Single Cell Pilot Award organized by the Cytometry and Biomarkers UTechS

Last year, the Cytometry and Biomarkers technology and service unit (CB UTechS) announced that it was setting up a pilot award, in collaboration with 10x Genomics and Macrogen, with the aim of preparing libraries for gene expression or single-cell immune profiling.

This was a fantastic opportunity and resulted in the installation of a Chromium Controller, a single-cell analysis device designed by 10x Genomics, for use in innovative pilot research projects.

This year, the pilot award scheme is being run again. The winners will have the opportunity of preparing libraries for two samples, under the supervision of the CB UTechS, for single-cell gene expression analysis.

The aim of the program is to offer support for up to four pilot projects. Macrogen will help sequence the libraries generated, at least for the first two projects selected. Applications will be examined within two weeks of the submission deadline.

If you would like to apply for the Single Cell Pilot Award, please submit an abstract (max. 300 words) or by using the QR code on the following document by July 20, 2019.
