The members of the Institut Pasteur General Meeting met on Friday June 21. During its session it approved the Board of Directors' Annual Report and the 2018 accounts by a unanimous show of hands. The members also approved the minutes of the General Meeting of June 11, 2018 and renewed half of the elected members of the Board of Directors

On Tuesday June 25, the French daily newspaper Le Monde and the Institut Pasteur joined forces to run a morning of debate and discussion with scientists, academic teaching staff and business leaders about post-PhD career options. This conference, held in the Le Monde auditorium, was an opportunity for attendees to meet both recent doctoral graduates and experienced PhD holders who work in a variety of fields: industry-based research, scientific outreach, start-ups, public research and teaching
Last year, the Department of Communications and Fundraising held sessions to shoot the new short films to be shown for the 2018 and 2019 editions of Pasteurdon, in a new location and with a new production team. No fewer than 21 TV presenters and several "extras" from among the Institut Pasteur's staff took part in the shoot. On Tuesday June 18 and Wednesday June 19, the film shoot continued on the Institut Pasteur campus. This was a great opportunity for many of you to come along and contribute to preparations for the 2019 edition.
Vivons Vélo", the sports-based fundraising program run by AG2R LA MONDIALE in aid of the Institut Pasteur, organizes regular bike rides for budding cyclists in around 15 towns and cities across France, including Paris. A new opportunity to hop on your bike and start clocking up the kilometers for the Institut Pasteur will take place on July 6. AG2R LA MONDIALE converts every kilometer cycled into donations. The target for 2019 is €100,000!
