Creation of the Institut Pasteur du Laos Foundation
Following the decision by the Institut Pasteur du Laos Board of Directors on March 9, 2018, and after several years of efforts and fundraising, the Institut Pasteur du Laos is pleased to announce that it is setting up its own foundation. The Institut Pasteur du Laos Foundation, created by a member institute of the Institut Pasteur International Network under the aegis of the Fondation de France, is a permanent instrument to ensure the long-term viability of the Institut Pasteur du Laos. It will support research on infectious diseases by scientists at the Institut Pasteur du Laos by providing funding that will go towards research projects, the salaries of scientists, technicians and support staff, and the institute's operating and investment expenses.
