"Business development and applications for biomedical innovation" course – registration now open

The HR training center and the Education Center are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the course "Business development and applications for biomedical innovation" (university diploma in biological and medical engineering), which will be held at Sorbonne University. The course will involve approximately 70 hours of teaching and will take place over 12 days from January to March 2020.

How can we bring innovative ideas to patients? What are the key factors for a successful research–industry partnership? How can you make the most of your PhD or Master's? What careers and opportunities are open to you with your qualifications? What do you need to know before setting up your own business?
All these questions, which are central to the Institut Pasteur's scientific policy, are addressed in this university diploma program in biological and medical engineering. The lecturers on the course are all active in research or industry.

An agreement has been signed with Sorbonne University to accept approximately one person per department. The cost of the course is covered for Institut Pasteur staff under the Skills Development Plan (previously known as the Training Plan). Orex staff may be accepted, although they will not be given priority.

The course is aimed at any healthcare professionals interested in biomedical innovation.
