Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
The 2019 "Vivons Vélo" event for the Institut Pasteur has so far clocked up a total distance of 1 356 km. This great performance is all thanks to your willingness to give up your time and go the extra mile for the Institut Pasteur's research.
Many of you have come along to take to the saddle, firstly in the atrium and then in the CIS building, where the bikes were moved to make way for the Pasteurdon launch. You have risen to each new challenge that has been set: completing 10km in the best time or covering the longest distance in 3 minutes.
A big thank you to all our Pasteurian cyclists who have upheld the values of sport and research.
The initiative will continue tomorrow, Saturday October 12, to give the public attending the Discovery Day the opportunity to notch up the kilometer count even further by taking to the bikes.
On October 12, the cycling community will be gearing up for a special event in aid of Pasteurdon and the Institut Pasteur's research, with all participating cities in France putting on a "Vivons Vélo" bike ride. In Paris, participants will set off in front of the Hôtel de Ville for a ride around the Seine and on to Les Invalides and the 15th arrondissement. They will cross the finish line on the Institut Pasteur campus at the center of the historical building, between the "Salle des Actes" and the museum.
Let's carry on pedaling for Pasteurdon!
