Messaging system hardening at the Institut Pasteur

Following the recent attacks on its computer network, the Institut Pasteur will strengthen the security of its messaging system.

As such, email addresses @pasteur.fr will be protected against spoofing by a mechanism called "SPF".

This mechanism will prevent unauthorized third parties from creating emails that appears to come from the Institut Pasteur.

In anticipation of this upgrade, teams sending emails from "@pasteur.fr" as a sender but from messaging systems not referenced by IT (Sarbacane, sendinblue, Mailchimp, omnisend …) are urged to contact rssi@pasteur.fr in order to integrate their system within those allowed.

This change will take place on Saturday November 30.
