This year's appraisals and career development reviews will take place from December 9, 2019 to February 14, 2020.
2019 appraisals and career development reviews – main points to remember:
This year's campaign will begin on December 9, 2019 and run until February 14, 2020. The appraisal forms of any non-scientific employees for whom a promotion request is being submitted must be approved by January 17 at the very latest.
All Institut Pasteur employees now have to take part in the appraisal process, except for those on fixed-term contracts of less than 6 months, PhD students and contract workers, as well as post-doctoral fellows for 2019.
The appraisal system involves:
An annual appraisal (reviewing 2019, setting targets for 2020 and identifying individual training needs).
A career development review, designed to review staff career development and short- and medium-term career plans. We would remind you that this is a legal obligation that must be carried out at least every two years from the employee's recruitment date.
Please note that this year, in addition to the career development review, all employees with more than 6 years of service will also be invited to attend a more detailed career review meeting. Please make sure you tick all the boxes on the form: in the event of an inspection, we need to be able to guarantee the traceability of this legal obligation.
