"HAL-Pasteur open archive" training session on Friday March 6, from 2.30 to 4.30pm
The Scientific Information Resources Center (CeRIS) is on hand to help you self-archive your scientific publications and to tell you more about open access. It will be running a HAL-Pasteur open archive training session.
Come and find out about the new interface that makes it quicker and easier to submit articles to the HAL-Pasteur platform!
The session will be in French and is open to everyone. It will be held in the training room (room 15.02.10) on the second floor of the CIS building on Friday March 6, from 2.30 to 4.30pm.

Have you been asked to draw up a Data Management Plan (DMP) without actually knowing what one is? Have you found yourself wondering how a DMP might be useful for you? Or have you had difficulties answering the questions you need to cover in a DMP?
On Tuesday March 10, from 2 to 5pm, the Scientific Information Resources Center (CeRIS) is running a training session entitled "Drawing up a Data Management Plan".
This session is for you! The CeRIS will help you understand the questions that need to be answered in a DMP and introduce you to some data management best practices that you should try to adopt. You will find out how DMPs can be a valuable tool throughout the research process. The course will also show you how to draw up a DMP using the REDCap tool.
This training session (in French) is open to everyone. It will take place in the training room on the second floor of the CIS building (room 15.02.10).

The Scientific Information Resources Center is running a training session in French on "PubMed – My NCBI: useful tips and tricks". The session will take place on Wednesday March 11, from 2 to 4.30pm.
Learn how to use PubMed more efficiently with handy techniques including advanced searches, search shortcuts and how to set up email alerts in your personal space (My NCBI).
The training session combines theory and hands-on exercises to introduce you to useful features that will speed up your research.

The Scientific Information Resources Center (CeRIS) holds regular informal campus sessions at the entrance to your buildings as an opportunity for the team to explain about its services, answer your questions, get to know you better and hear your thoughts and ideas! The team also brings along a selection of books and films available to borrow.
Its next port of call will be the ground floor of the Monod building on Thursday March 5, 2020, from 12.30 to 2.30pm. Meet the team in the entrance hall.
