The COVID-19 epidemic has turned our lives and routines upside down. Going into lockdown, coming out of lockdown, learning to keep our distance... the entire human race has had to adapt to live with the virus. But how is it evolving? When can we hope to see an effective vaccine?
At 6pm on Thursday October 8, 2020, via the pasteurdon.fr website, everyone is invited to a virtual conference at which several scientists will be sharing their latest findings and discussing their research. Hosted by Jean-François Chambon, Vice-President Communications and Fundraising, the event will feature the following speakers:
Arnaud Fontanet, Director of the Global Health Department and Head of the Epidemiology of Emerging Diseases Research Unit
Sylvie van der Werf, Head of the National Reference Center for Respiratory Viruses
Christophe d’Enfert, Scientific Director
Simon Cauchemez, Head of the Mathematical Modeling of Infectious Diseases Unit
Epidemiology, diagnostic tools, therapeutic prospects – look back with us at 10 months of efforts to tackle COVID-19 by the Institut Pasteur, an active player in the mission to improve global health.
The partnership with the RATP will give the appeal great visibility on the Paris metro networks.
