New data storage solutions now available

With the support of the Institut Pasteur senior management team, we are moving to a new system that reflects the realities of invoicing this type of service offered to campus.

We will now be offering 100TB of free storage to all PIs, with a new funding/invoicing model and a service that is more closely aligned with the needs of the scientific community.

What is changing?

  1. Each PI will be able to spread their 100TB across 2 different bays. These 100TB will be deducted from the existing project directories.

  2. It will now be possible to replicate data on two separate sites on campus.

  3. Data can be distributed across two bays: Gaïa, which offers standard performance, and Zeus with improved performance (more detailed access rights management, Maestro Cluster and security level).

  4. The service will be invoiced annually via a subscription.

* Costs per TB are listed below:

(*): please note that invoices will now be charged as operating expenses rather than investment expenses.
