Upcoming "Start-up breakfast" session on December 1

The next "Start-up breakfast" will take place on Tuesday December 1 at 8.30am via Teams (the link will be communicated to registered participants). The session will be hosted by Bertrand Baheu-Derras.

Bertrand Baheu-Derras is a lawyer at the Court, counsel at the Aramis law firm in Paris, within the Corporate team. He supports French or foreign companies and investors in their operations, including cross-border, business creation, strategic partnerships, financing, investments, equity investments, mergers, and acquisitions. Thus, he plays a role at all stages of companies' lives, from creation to their development stages and external growth, including fundraising.

After a Master’s degree in Business law at Rennes 1 University and a Master’s degree in Corporate law at Clermont-Ferrand 1 university, he got a certificate of Legal English at the Washington College of Law and became a lawyer.   Before joining Aramis, he practiced in two law firms’ internationals: Hogan Lovells and Reed Smith. He also worked at the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich.

Passionate about science and technology, he mainly advises project leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors in the innovation sectors, particularly from public research (Deeptech), with a predilection for health. To bring the world of research closer to the business world, he also leads conferences and workshops on business creation and entrepreneurship with young researchers and project leaders. He is also the author of several articles in the trade press.
