Présentation des appels 2016 - 2017 du programme Horizon 2020 et mise en réseau
En vue du lancement des appels 2016 - 2017 du programme Horizon 2020, la Commission européenne organise plusieurs évènements à Bruxelles :
17/09/2015 : un brokerage event est organisé afin de mettre en réseau les équipes de recherche européennes voulant déposer un projet. Différentes sessions sont prévues pour que les chercheurs puissent présenter leur projet sur un appel donné.
18/09/2015 : une journée d’information es organisée sur la programmation scientifique "Santé, changement démographique et bien être" du programme Horizon 2020. Cet évènement permettra à la Commission européenne de présenter ses priorités et ses attentes pour les projets déposés.

Research to Advance Vaccine Safety (R21)
• Purpose: to support research that will contribute to the overall understanding of vaccine safety thanks to studies addressing 1) physiological and immunological responses to vaccines and vaccine components, 2) how genetic variations affect immune/physiological responses that may impact vaccine safety, 3) identification of risk factors and biological markers that may be used to assess whether there is a relationship between certain diseases or disorders and licensed vaccines, 4) creation/evaluation of statistical methodologies for analyzing data on vaccine safety, including data available from existing data sources such as passive reporting systems or healthcare databases, or 5) the application of genomic/molecular technologies and systems biology approaches to evaluate vaccine safety.
• Budget and Project Period: The combined budget for direct costs for the two year project period may not exceed $275,000. No more than $200,000 may be requested in any single year. The total project period may not exceed 2 years.

Translational Research on Adducts in Cancer Risk Identification and Prevention (U01)
• Purpose: to encourage clinically-relevant translational/epidemiological research projects focused on the use of adducts to cellular macromolecules, as indicators of exposures to cancer risk factors in human populations and subgroups with priority on projects focusing on adductomic approaches based on comprehensive use of human biospecimens for which detailed medical data are available.
• Budget and Project Period: Application budgets are not limited but need to reflect the actual needs of the proposed project. The total project period may not exceed 5 years.

• Letter of Intent Due Date: October 23, 2015
• Applications can be submitted by 5:00 PM local time of applicant organization every November 23, 2015; July 11, 2016, November 22, 2016; July 11, 2017, November 21, 2017 (U01 due dates) until July 11, 2018 (Funding Opportunity Expiration Date).

Innovative Basic Research on Adducts in Cancer Risk Identification and Prevention (R01)
• Purpose: to encourage research projects focused on adducts to cellular macromolecules as indicators of exposures to cancer risk factors relevant to human populations. The priority is on projects that will focus on adductomic approaches, i.e., address some aspects of the totality of adducts. These projects should explore the basic aspects of adducts/adductomics that may have a potential utility in cancer detection, cancer prevention, and/or assessing cancer risks.
• Budget and Project Period: Application budgets are not limited but need to reflect the actual needs of the proposed project. The total project period may not exceed 5 years.
