Each year, the Institut Pasteur gives a number of prizes to scientists who have made a major contribution to research. The cash awards included with the prizes are funded by generous donors.

The Institut Pasteur is launching a call for nominations for this year's Thérèse Lebrasseur, Georges Zermati and Pasteur Vallery-Radot Prizes, which will be awarded in the autumn to permanent scientists at the Institut Pasteur and OREX scientists who have worked on campus for at least five years.

Applications should meet the specific guidelines for the prizes and be sent by email by September 11, 2020 (6pm) to: hafida.fsihi@pasteur.fr

  • Call for applications for the 2020 Institut Pasteur Young Scientist Prize

Applications are now open for the third edition of the Institut Pasteur Young Scientist Prize. The prize, set up to mark the Institut Pasteur's 130th anniversary, will be awarded to a PhD student and a post-doctoral fellow who were first authors of high-level research papers published in 2019.

Criteria for the call for applications:

• first author or co-first authors (no more than two; in this case the prize is shared),

• research conducted at the Institut Pasteur,

• paper published in print or online between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019 (date on which the paper was accepted for publication)

 The completed application form should be sent as a PDF by September 11 (6pm) to Hafida Fsihi (hafida.fsihi@pasteur.fr)
