EFIS Sex Differences in Immunity congress on October 23, 2025

The "Milieu Intérieur" LabEx is pleased to announce the organization of the first European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) Sex Differences in Immunity congress, which will be held on October 23, 2025 in the Emile Duclaux lecture hall at the Institut Pasteur.

This congress is co-sponsored by the “Milieu Intérieur” LabEx and will focus on how biological sex and gender impacts differential immune responses throughout life, a major focus of Scientific Priority 4 "Health and disease at extreme ages of life" in the Pasteur 2030 strategic plan.
 
In addition to two keynote speakers (Dr. Kate Docking: social historian of medicine and gender in 20th century Europe & Prof. Petter Brodin, physician scientist and pioneer of systems immunology studies), there will be 14 talks from international speakers on topics covering Sex Differences in Translational Studies, Tissue Immunity, Infection & Vaccination, and immunity throughout life. There will also be an interactive poster session over lunch and a cheese & wine evening.  
 
Abstract submissions are now closed; you are welcome to participate in the meeting.
