Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
Reminder: As part of ongoing efforts to digitize its processes and pursue an environmentally friendly strategy that embraces technological developments, the Human Resources Department, working closely with the Information Systems Department, is switching to a paperless payroll system from May 2019.
Payslips will now be sent directly to each employee's secure personal space, the MyPeopleDoc electronic data vault, hosted by the French Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (Deposits and Consignments Fund).
Employees who wish to continue receiving paper payslips through the post can opt to do so via their HR Portal from April 15, 2019.
Members of the Payroll Department will be holding drop-in sessions to offer guidance to employees with no computer or Internet access on May 3 and 13, 2019, from 9am to 12 noon.
Benefits of paperless payroll:
You can store your payslips and access them easily at any time, in complete confidentiality and with no risk of them getting lost, in your secure electronic data vault.
The payslips of every employee are stored as PDFs, which have full legal and probative value, for a guaranteed period of 50 years, even if the employee leaves the Institut Pasteur.
For the Institut Pasteur, this paperless system will result in a simplified, more secure payslip distribution process with a smaller environmental footprint.
What happens next:
An email about the introduction of paperless payroll will be sent by the Vice-President Human Resources to all employees on April 15, 2019.
Practical details on how to activate your electronic vault will be included with the April 2019 payslips.
