A new Twitter account for the Institut Pasteur

institut_pasteur_institutpasteur_-_twitter_2016-04-07_07-37-12.png In autumn 2015, the Communications Department launched a new strategy to increase its visibility on social media. This involves adopting a specialist editorial policy for each network with the aim of boosting the Institut Pasteur's entire digital ecosystem. Social media represent a great opportunity to bring the Institut Pasteur to the forefront of topical debate, to showcase its successes and research, and to communicate with an international audience via innovative new channels.

To facilitate exchanges and mentions on social media, the Institut Pasteur's Twitter account has now been renamed @institutpasteur (instead of @aiderpasteur). The old name was chosen during a fundraising campaign, and that account grew to reach a total of 9,300 followers. The aim today is to refer more clearly to the institution so as to facilitate mentions, boost exchanges with third-party accounts and become the central account for the Institut Pasteur's Twitter ecosystem.

As part of this new strategy, the Communications Department would like to invite anyone with a personal or professional Twitter account to contact the Web and Social Media Department to take part in a workshop run by the agency La Netscouade.
